Disaster Help Card 災害時ヘルプカード Thẻ trợ giúp khi gặp thiên tai

The City of Kyotanabe collaborated with Professor Matsuda and his students from the Law Department of Seinan University to create the "Disaster Help Card for Foreigners" to assist foriegn residents in emergency situations by compiling common knowledge on natural disasters and evacuation shelters. On one side of the card is a table with 12 phrases such as "I am injured" written in 3 languages so that you can point to a phrase when trying to communicate with emergency responders, etc. The other side of the card includes information on types of natural disasters and response measures, items to bring to evacuation shelters, and space for a map to the evacuation shelter to be drawn. The card includes easy to understand images and is written completely in Easy Japanese, English, and Vietnamese. When printed on size B5 paper, it can be folded down into the size of a business card which can fit inside a card case and be carried around. 

災害など緊急時の対応として、災害に関する知識の周知や避難情報の提供などが求められていることから、在住外国人の防災意識の向上・減災に繋げるものとして、摂南大学法学部 増田ゼミと京田辺市が共同で『災害時ヘルプカード』を作成しました。

カード表面は、災害時に指差しで意思疎通できるよう「ケガをしています」等のフレーズを12個列挙し、裏面は各災害の説明や対処方法、避難時の所持品を掲載して、自宅から避難所までの地図を記入できる欄を設けました。また、災害についてイメージしやすいようにイラストを挿入し、カードは全て「やさしい日本語・英語・ベトナム語」の3か国語で記載しています。B5用紙1枚を名刺サイズに折り畳み、カードケース等に収納して携帯できます。
