古くからお茶の生産が盛んな飯岡地区は、丘陵地に広がる覆下茶園と集落が織りなす美しい景観が特徴です。茶文化継承の取り組みなども高く評価され、平成27年、「日本遺産」「京都府景観資産」に認定されました。 豊かな木津川の自然を感じながらサイクリングが楽しめる「京奈和自転車道路」。京都嵐山から京田辺市を通って和歌山港まで（１８０㎞）が一本の道でつながっていて、多くのサイクリストでにぎわっています。新田辺駅京田辺駅木津川京奈和自転車道路近鉄京都線ＪＲ片町線（学研都市線）興戸駅同志社前駅三山木駅三山木駅世界のサイクリストが集結する国際自転車ロードレース「ツアー・オブ・ジャパン」京都ステージの開催やお茶どころを巡る「茶いくるライン」の整備、飯岡の茶畑が日本遺産に登録されるなど、自転車やお茶を活かした地域活性化が盛ん。訪れる人がみんな笑顔になれる、活気に満ちたまちづくりを進めています。ttA日本遺産・京都府景観資産いのおか飯岡の茶畑京奈和自転車道路京都府南部地域は、茶生産地として長い歴史があり、景観や緑茶生産を今に残しています。京たなべ玉露庵ractive cityEveryone visiting the city has a smile on their facesRegional vitalization using local characteristics, such as bicycles and tea plantations, is actively encouraged. That includes hosting the Kyoto stage of the Tour of Japan, an international bicycle road race of cyclists from all over the world, and organizing a cycling event called the Cycle Line, where participants enjoy cycling near famous tea spots. Iioka’s tea plantation was also registered as a part of the Japanese Heritage Sites.
